Quote 1: "How could I say to Him: 'Blessed art Thou, Eternal, Master of the Universe, Who chose us from among the races to be tortured day and night, to see our fathers, our mothers, our brothers, end in the crematory? Praised be Thy Holy Name, Thou Who hast chosen us to be butchered on Thine alter? (Wiesel 74).'"
Analysis: Such a powerful quote this is! This shows how far Elie has come with his faith in God. Elie has allowed the Nazi's to strip him of everything including his opinion about his religion. He's blaming God for Adolf Hitlers decision to make the Jew be just like another form of dinosaurs; make them go extinct. Hilter has successfully torn Elie apart and turned him into nothing, but A-7713, just a number.
Quote 2: "On Christmas and New Years Day, there was no work (Wiesel 84)"
Analysis: The Nazi's are showing that they don't have a completely cold heart. They've allowed the "campers" to enjoy what they can of their holiday. They even received slightly thicker soup. This doesn't make sense to me. If Hitler hated the Jews so much, why did he allow them this small amount of freedom? It's almost as if Hitler cared a little bit...

"Night" Analysis.
"In your place, I shouldn't care whether they believed me or not." (p.17 Elie Wiesel)
During this time Moche the Beadle was trying to get the Jews to believe what was going on at Auschwitz. Elie was telling Moche the Beadle that he wasn't going to do the same thing as the others and not believe him. This shows that Elie trusts Moche and is sympathetic to what's going on. Elie's open to explanations.
"He closed his eyes, as though to escape time."(p.17 Elie Wiesel)
Moche the Beadle closed his eyes, as if he was trying to pass the time. This is a sign that he was sad and confused. Elie just sat there and waited for something to say afterwards. Moche was showing that he knew Elie doesn't understand what he's gone through with Auschwitz.

A Good Listener .
A good listener is someone who you can go and talk to , and they will listen . I've always considered my best friends Savanah and Vanessa to listen to me if I'm needing someone to talk to . I used to trust one of my friends , Kelsey Watson . She moved to Georgia and changed . She told everybody that I was talking about them and that I was a liar and fake . -_____- I was hurt and confused as to why she changed and what made her want to tell everybody those things .
I am the kind of person that will listen to you if you have any problems . All my friends can confide in me . I handle their trust like they would handle mine . This is where the 'Golden Rule' comes into play , 'Treat others the way you want to be treated' .

"Describe a Perfect World."
A perfect world would be hard to create . Also , rather confusing and difficult . If everyone was perfect the world would be incredibly dull . There wouldn't be any arguments or drama . Granted , I don't like drama , but it makes life interesting and gives you something to look back on . How would you learn from your mistakes if life was so perfect ? There wouldn't be any lessons to learn .
Life as a robot ? That's what we would be . Boring and bland . Although we'd be in-interesting , it would illuminate many difficulties . Bullying , cliques , the teasing , and tormenting . If that was gone ... we'd miss it . Maybe not the bullying , teasing , and tormenting , but the cliques . Mainly our friends . We'd miss the long draw out conversations about boyfriend drama or the party this weekend . The stuff that brought us together originally .
It's hard to describe a perfect world because it's so unrealistic . The world would be bland and dull , boring and not unique .
